For A Project That Stalled

Inherit it, stabilise it, rebuild what is worth keeping.

A build that stopped, an agency that left, a codebase nobody currently understands. We read it before we judge it, stop the bleeding, and then tell you honestly what to keep.

What you get

A clear read on what you actually own, and a fixed price for what comes next.

01

We read the code and the incident history before recommending anything.

02

Whatever is failing in production gets stabilised first, ahead of any rebuild.

03

The rebuild plan is fixed-price, and says plainly what is worth keeping.

How this runs
  1. 01

Read the code and the incident history

Before any opinion about quality. What it does, what it depends on, what has broken before and how often.

  2. 02

    Stabilise what is bleeding

Whatever is failing in production is fixed first, even if it lives in code we would not have written. Stability buys the time to decide properly.

  3. 03

    A fixed-price rebuild plan

What to keep, what to replace, what to retire, and the cost of each. Often the answer is that more of it is salvageable than you were told.

  4. 04

    Cut over without downtime

Run the new alongside the old, move traffic gradually, and keep the route back open until it is clearly not needed.

Before you ask
We do not have access to everything. Is that a problem?

It is normal. Recovering accounts, domains and repositories from a previous supplier is often the first piece of work, and we have done it before.

Will you tell us to rebuild from scratch?

Only if that is true, and it usually is not. A full rewrite is the most expensive recommendation available, so it has to be argued rather than assumed.

How much does the initial assessment cost?

The first conversation is free. A full read of the codebase is a small fixed-price piece of work, and what it produces is yours whether or not you continue with us.

Can you work with the original developers?

Where they are still around and willing, yes — they know things no codebase records. Where they are not, the code and the history are enough.
